The Learn to Play program is a seven stage program that focuses on introducing new young golfers to the game, as well as developing already established juniors. We will teach them how to play the game, and then train them how to compete. See below the different stages of the program.

Each Level in the program has goals for the junior to attain depending on which level he/she is in. Juniors will be evaluated throughout the week and access to progress reports will be available for viewing online by the parents and juniors. As juniors pass each level of the program they will receive a certificate congratulating them on passing the level as well as a giveaway pertaining to the particular level the junior is at.
The Learn to Play program is taught based on seven core components that will develop well rounded golfers for the future of the game. These components are:

The Mind Matters section and Golf 101 sections are great sections for poor weather days. This is the time when juniors will learn the rules, the history of the game, etiquette, as well as learn how to think while playing golf.
In the Fitness and Health section of the program the juniors will play other sports such as Frisbee golf, soccer and tennis etc. We want to try to motivate juniors to become golf athletes and this will teach them the importance of being healthy and staying in good shape and how being a strong athlete will make them better golfers.
Parents and juniors should sign up for a future links membership online and chart their performance throughout their time at the camps and clinics. They can also check the future links website for upcoming events at the Kaneff Golf Academy as well, events like the Junior Skills Challenge and Junior Golf Leagues.
Summer Camp:
Each week begins with an assessment to the campers. This will determine what level they are currently at and what instruction will be given to them for the week. If the campers is a returning camper they will simply pick up where they finished off last week. Campers within similar levels will be together to help each other work towards achieving their benchmarks throughout their week(s). This will help create camaraderie between the juniors and help them stay focused throughout the week. At the end of each week campers will take part in the final assessment and try to reach the benchmarks for each level in order to advance to the next level of the Learn to Play program.
The summer camp runs Monday – Friday from 9:00-4:00pm. Each student will be provided healthy lunch and snacks throughout the week. The cost for the camp is $489 per junior. The weeks for the camp are as follows. Availability is on a first come first serve basis.
Dates TBA
Weekend Clinics:
Our weekly clinics run throughout the summer and will be taught following the Learn to Play program as well. The clinics begin on May 15th weekend and run for 13 weekends throughout the summer excluding long weekends. They begin with an initial assessment of the juniors. This will allow the professional to put them in the proper level of the program and cater instruction directly to them. They will work with the professional during the weekend clinics to progress through the Learn to Play Program. Every 5th week of the clinics is an assessment, where the juniors will be able to test their skills and see if he/she can progress to the next level.
Juniors can sign up for single clinics, a series of 5, or the entire season.
Single Lesson: $25
Series of 5: $115
Entire Season: $280
Clinics are taught on Saturday Mornings at 10am, 11am and 12pm. As well as Sundays at 3:30pm
